We made a small update to the formula in our new Pantry Ready Line, allowing it to be stored at room temperature—without sacrificing the delicious flavor.

To ensure our new recipe maintains the same digestive health support, we worked closely with our world-renowned Scientific Advisory Board—global leaders in microbiome, prebiotic, digestive, and metabolic health. They confirmed that the updated formula continues to deliver digestive health support, even when stored at room temperature.

Great question! Here’s the simple answer: Prebiotics are what probiotics eat. Probiotics are live bacteria with health benefits, sometimes referred to as ‘good bacteria.’ Our digestive tract is home to many beneficial bacteria, which need food, just like us. That’s where prebiotics come in.

Because we can’t break them down, prebiotics pass through our digestive tract to the large intestine (where most beneficial bacteria reside). There, they’re fermented and broken down by our gut bacteria into useful compounds that support our overall health.

OLIPOP incorporates a variety of research-backed prebiotics to give your “good” or friendly gut bacteria the nutrients they need. Because taking probiotics without addressing what’s happening within is like planting seeds in a desert and hoping a garden will grow.

Did you know that, on average, Americans get less than one-third of the FDA daily recommended amount of fiber and less than 10% of what our hunter-gatherer ancestors consumed? There are two forms of fiber out there: soluble and insoluble. We use soluble fiber in powder form that dissolves in liquid, which is how prebiotic fiber ends up in each can of OLIPOP. Our pop’s fiber comes from several different sources, including Chicory Root, Jerusalem Artichoke, Cassava Root, and more. In fact, every 12 oz can of OLIPOP meets the FDA's requirements for an excellent source of fiber!

OLIPOP is sweetened with a combination of Cassava Syrup, Fruit Juice, and Stevia. No fake friends here.

The only OLIPOP flavors that currently contain caffeine are Vintage Cola, Cherry Cola, Dr. Goodwin and Ridge Rush; the rest are caffeine-free! The caffeine in these three flavors consists of 50mg of caffeine derived from green tea extract.

OLIPOP does not contain peanuts or tree nuts, but they are present in our production facility. OLIPOP has systems in place to ensure no cross-contamination of allergens occurs. However, those with severe allergies should exercise caution.
