Not only was Cream Soda a highly (highly!) requested flavor, but it was also inspired by our own memories of unashamedly spooning creamy marshmallow fluff.  

As for its history, the story of cream soda dates back to 1852, when the earliest known recipe by E.M. Sheldon appeared in Michigan Farmer. That original version included ingredients like cream of tartar, Epsom salts, milk, sugar, and eggs—more reminiscent of something like eggnog than the soda we know today.  

Over time, cream soda evolved into the iconic, vanilla-forward beverage we recognize today... ironically, without any actual cream in the recipe. But while the formulation changed, its popularity never faded. Cream soda has remained a quintessential flavor, tied closely to childhood memories and simpler times. 

Knowing so many people share those same nostalgic associations, we set out to create our own version, one that honors the classic flavor while elevating it with thoughtful ingredients and added functionality.
