Cherry Cola Inspiration Story 

Cherry Cola didn’t tiptoe onto our flavor lineup...it earned its place. 

From the moment we started hearing requests, it was clear this classic had earned its moment. Fans wanted the unmistakable taste of cherry cola but done the OLIPOP way. And before long, Cherry Cola climbed to become one of our most requested flavors. 

That’s when we knew it was time to get to work. Our goal was to capture the quintessential cherry cola experience while creating something distinctly OLIPOP yet separate from both Cherry Vanilla and Vintage Cola.  

To bring it to life, our Co‑Founder, CEO, and Formulator, Ben Goodwin, crafted a deeper, more nuanced “dark” version of our cola base. He layered in a splash of tart cherry juice, a custom black cherry top note, and select flavor‑enhancing ingredients to create a soda that feels nostalgic, elevated, and uniquely its own.
