Meet Crisp Apple 

Crisp Apple is best described as sparkling apple juice and gummy apple rings blending into one. It’s tantalizingly sweet and refreshing, perfect for raising a glass (or can) to traditions both old and new.  

Speaking of old and new, Crisp Apple started as a limited-edition holiday flavor featuring our first-ever holiday can design. But, as it turns out, this flavor was just too good to remain a seasonal treat. Hundreds of you commented, emailed, and practically demanded that this apple-orchard-in-a-can become a full-time flavor.  

Was it the yummy apple rings, the sparkling apple juice, or the sweet taste of crisp apples pressed to refresh on a cellular level? Whatever it was, you all went apple-lutely nuts for this flavor—so we brought it back for good. It’s crisp to its core and here to stay! 

Crisp Apple Inspiration Story 

Crisp Apple's flavor inspiration came from a variety of sources. First, thank our Co-Founder who insisted on making this flavor. This resulted after years of asking Ben Goodwin, our Co-Founder, CEO, and Formulator, to make a flavor that reminded him of his childhood and home in the UK. To make Crisp Apple, Ben drew from his favorite memories of drinking sparkling apple cider. He combined the refreshing taste of carbonated apple juice with a perfectly balanced flavor profile (crisp and sweet). 

However, Ben knew he had to add the quintessential OLIPOP touch and, therefore, wanted to evolve and blend the soda and comfort elements into something familiar and unique. To accomplish this, he experimented with tons of apple blends and flavors, ultimately resulting in an outcome that tasted like a cross between that sparkling apple cider he grew up sipping and a satisfying apple gummy ring.
